A wood and silver desk seal from early 19th century made for an Antwerp owner, the matrix engraved with his arms.

A finely presented, early 19th century desk seal with an ebonised wood handle tapering below a mushroom knop, with silver collar and oval matrix engraved with a full achievement of arms incorporating crest, supporters, shield and motto reading: 

A'DEO, ET REGE

The arms are those of the family Van Trier de Tiege of Antwerp
