Seal Detail
A fine wood and brass Archbishop's desk seal, the handle of rounded top form, bulbous stem and brass collar and oval integrated matrix, well engraved with armorial shield under a ducal coronet, capello and tassles, within a beaded border.
The arms are those of Cardinal de Noailles (Louis-Antoine), Archbishop of Paris (27 May 1651 - 4 May 1729).
