Silver Sculpture Figurine Cherub Holding Palmwood Desk Seal

A beautifully crafted and cast antique silver cherub holding aloft a desk seal.   The craftmanship of this piece is simply stunning and the stand is marked 925 for sterling silver.  Unusually, the desk seal element has been made with palmwood which has a very attractive contrasting marking.  This is coupled with a silver matrix which has been well engraved with a personal armorial.  

This unusual and rare piece looks splendid on a desk, whether used as a seal or not and would make an excellent gift for someone who has everything!
