Massive Turquoise, Silver & Hardstone Decorative Desk Seal

Seal Detail

An impressive and unusual 20th century massive desk seal, the handle of smooth but rough formed out of a single block of turquoise, fitted to an unmarked silver collar and mount of chalice form, richly decorated with engravings and with a waisted band set with small hardstones.  The mount flares to a large circular copper matrix, engraved with a repeating pattern with a lined border.  

Certainly an impressive desk centrepiece in its own right.
