Unusual Antique Lady's Leg Gilt Brass Continental Armorial Desk Wax Seal

A splendid desk wax seal cast in the form of a lady's leg with stocking and shoe with flat topped matrix engraved with a Continental armorial, as yet unidentified.   

The seal appears to have been cast with a gilt brass finish with attractive detail to the casting to present a highly tactile finish with an rectangular matrix with canted corners engraved with an armorial comprising shield with crested helm above and decorative mantling.   A charming and unusual style of seal.
