English Brass 19thC Archdeacon Desk Wax Seal - Huntingdon

Seal Detail

A large brass English desk seal, of vessica form the reverse having its original handle removed and drilled for use within a machine, the obverse engraved with arms in the lower section and above, scales amidst a set of four Maltese crosses, a circumscription within a lined border reading:

SIGILLVM COMMISSARII ET OFFICIALIS ARCHIDIACONATVS HVNTINGTONIEN
