Seal Detail

A very attractive combination of turned boxwood handle of fungus form which incidentally the remains of some historical red wax stuck to it. The handle tapering to a long straight brass collar with flat oval matrix well engraved with a full achievement of arms, especially attractive with the two standing stags in support with their motto above reading: PER ARDUA CRESCO (I grow through adversity).

The arms are those of van Trier de Tiege of Antwerp.
