English Silver and Carnelian Swivel Fob Seal

Seal Detail

A fine example of an English swivel seal with carnelian matrix set in a silver mount with swivel handle and suspension loop. The rectangular matrix is very finely engraved with central armorial shield of complex nature under an Earl's coronet which is beneath an elaborate cap of maintenance. Two impressive asymmetric supporters feature above their own motto scrolls.
