A wood and brass Continental desk seal, dating from the early 19th century, the handle of rounded top form with tapering stem to a brass banded collar an oval brass matrix, engraved with an armorial shield comprising a Moor's head above crossed arms holding swords, under a Count's coronet and floral decorative engraving within a beaded border. 

A beautifully presented example with an unusual armorial.
