Seal Detail

A solid bronze desk seal of baluster form, the handle tapering to the oval matrix, engraved with a charming depiction of a saintly male in his glory, on his knees in front of the Divine cloud within which is shown a crucifix, with an inscription reading:

S. LOCI.BICTI.CAP.F

A seal presumably for a Capucine Order monastery, location unknown.  In well-used condition but showing good patina.  The handle appears to be off-centre but this is not caused by any breakage or cracking.
