An interesting and original late 17th century Continental bronze armorial desk seal, the simple handle of rounded top form, tapering to an integrated oval matrix, engraved with a central shield under a ducal coronet, with decorative mantling within a beaded border.  

In lovely, original condition with attractive patination and signs of wear commensurate with its age
