Seal Detail
An English ebony and silver armorial desk seal, the handle of flat, drum top form with tapering stem to a silver collar and rectangular cushion mount, set with a bloodstone matrix, engraved with arms and crest above displaying a sword in pale and on its point a garland of laurel, all ppr. for the Gorham family. [Of note is the motto banner which has been cut blank] Presented in excellent condition.
