A rare and highly collectable bois durci, mother of pearl and brass desk seal, English, circa 1839, moulded as a bust of John Wesley, in clerical dress with mother of pearl tabs, inscribed in relief with name on the front pedestal, circular brass matrix, hatched as an eraser stamp. In excellent condition.
