A fine Rose quartz, silver gilt and gold armorial desk seal, the handle of cylindrical form comprised of rose quartz, the top terminal of silver gilt and gold decoration featuring a rose under a royal coronet, the tall gilt collar elegantly decorated with engraved panels of foliage, copied on the integral mount with the circular matrix well engraved with an elaborate armorial comprising shield under a Comtal's coronet, with twin supporting wild men holding pennants (one engraved with the family's war cry FORTIS UT MONS (Strong as a mountain - a nod to the armorial) with a ribboned motto at base reading:

DABIT DEUS HIS QUOQUE FINEM (God will also give an end to these things)

The seal of Mademoiselle Bathilde de Monts de Savasse (1821–1899), who was born into the core Dauphiné lineage, she remained unmarried for her entire life, meaning she uniquely bore the full, undifferenced family arms without a marital alliance shield.
