A well proportioned late 18th century ebony and silver desk seal with matrix comprising crest and motto.

Seal Detail

This charming shaped desk seal was made at the end of the 18th century and features an ebony handle of ball form, tapering to a silver banded collar and integral cushioned mount with circular silver matrix, unusually engraved with the crest of a crocodile on a ground and motto above reading:
