A rare opportunity to acquire a complete collection of antique wax impressions from a French collector dating to the early 20th century.  The impressions, totalling 14 in total are individually made and mounted within a cardboard book-box, each with its description of the impression.  It is rare to find antique, private collections complete in their original state and this collection ranges from 14thC to 18thC examples including a very attractive skull armorial. The "book" has been decorated to depict a style representing chivalry, shown in particular by the cover picture, hand-drawn of St George, in his glory and in armour, with pennant in one hand and sword in the other, having slayed the dragon.  

Presented in its original condition, showing wear, but nevertheless intact and fully functioning.
