Seal Detail

A fine example of an early 14th century personal fob seal, the handle of  arrow point form, pierced with a suspension loop, tapering stem to a rounded matrix, well engraved with a central shield, blazoned with a bend between a roundel and a rose and circumscription within a lined border reading:
