Seal Detail

Fine pocket wax seal of jasper hardstone and gold, the handle of flat top form with tapering stem, canted corners with a decorative gold waist band, the stem terminating in a rectangular decorated gold mount, with rounded corners, the integral jasper matrix engraved with a crest comprising a roaring lion bust sedant, as yet unidentified.

In superb original condition with no discernible damage noted to stone nor gold.
