A 19th century Dutch official wood and brass armorial, the handle of turned wood of baluster form with brass positioning indicator tapering to a brass collar and oval brass matrix, well and deeply engraved with the arms of the city of Rotterdam and a ribboned inscription at the base reading:

STAD ROTTERDAM

An official administrative seal for the city of Rotterdam, here presented in excellent condition.
