19thC Gilt & Steel Continental Armorial Fob Seal

Seal Detail

A 19th century Continental gilt and steel fob seal, the handle of inverted U-formed bows, attached at the top with suspension loop and split ring, the simple oval mount with scalloped edge to an oval steel matrix engraved with an as yet unidentified armorial shield with twin collared greyhound supporters under an apparent baron's coronet and three crests. In very good condition overall.
