Seal Detail

A superb bronze seal dating to the 18th century, the reverse with raised and rounded fin with suspension loop, the obverse well engraved with an armorial comprising shield under a crested helm and mantling with inscription within a lined border reading:

SIGILLVM . D? . MARTENS.

The seal cis in superb condition and comes with its previous collection record together with its identification tag from when it formed part of the Schuerhaus Collection No. 717.
