We thought we would pick a seal that would appeal to a wide number of our collector-friends and, in a nod to the longest day here in the UK, what better way than with a charming pocket seal made of gold and amethyst, with a bloodstone matrix and sentimental message featuring a sun!
With a faceted handle made of amethyst glass, with rounded end and of tapering form, this ends in an unmarked gold collar of slightly bulbous form and what appears to be acanthus leaves as the floral pattern and then to a gold mount which has been fashioned into a four-leaf clover scallop shape and the bloodstone similarly shaped and nicely engraved with a pastoral scene of the sun setting over a mountain scene, with the message I’LL RETURN.
