A rarely seen example of a solid silver "hand holding seal"  desk seal, the whole cast from silver and featuring a hand with elaborate cuff "holding" a seal with decorative embossed ivy to a floral-themed collar and circular matrix, well engraved with unidentified arms comprising kidney shaped shield with three tall, slender trees under a coronet and mantling.

A clean and beautiful example of this type of collectible form of seal; of heavy weight yet delicate subject.
