Small English Silver Fob Seal

Seal Detail

A small silver fob seal believed to be 17th century of English origin, with suspension loop handle and oval matrix, simply engraved with armorial featuring a lion rampant above two pales. It appears to be in excellent condition save for a bend probably derived from historic use. Under close scrutiny there also appears to be a well rubbed mark on the obverse side of the matrix, possibly a position marker.
