A fine early circular brass seal, dating to the late 15th or early 16th century, the reverse comprising a simple, low cut fin; the obverse well and deeply engraved with a heavily decorated series of shield (featuring the arms of the town of Sorel), helm, crest and supporters with garlands and inscription within scrolls reading:
