Fine early 19thC Hardstone Marriage Armorial Desk Seal

Seal Detail

A fine example of an early 19th century agate desk seal, the handle beautifully carved with rounded top and tapering stem of squared form with cantered edges, to a virtually circular matrix, engraved with co-joining armorial shields, as yet unidentified, under a coronet.

In very good condition with no discernible damage to the stone edges.
