Seal Detail

A striking contemporary desk seal made from a particularly attractive rectangular section striated agate of oranges to white, cut to a distinctive angle tapering to a rectangular silver matrix with canted corners, the matrix engraved with central armorial shield below an English Earl's coronet, with twin angel supporters and motto below reading:

VIRTUTE ET FIDELE ("By Valour and Fidelity")

The silver obverse is stamped with a full set of English silver hallmarks for London 1976.
