Seal Detail

A charming and unusual desk seal from the point of view of materials used, the double engraving and engraved name on the stem.  The handle, of multi-faceted bulbous flat top form, the top engraved with a cypher.  The tapering stem upon which is engraved, presumably, the owner's name:

W. Barclay [different from the cypher]

with an unmarked silver collar and mount decorated with floral scrolls and oval bloodstone matrix, engraved with arms, as yet unidentified.  A charming seal of much interest and further research required to ascertain ownership.
