Seal Detail

A charming wood and steel desk seal, the handle of turned hardwood with mid waist banding, tapering to a short steel collar and integral oval steel matrix, engraved with imagery depicting standing person in period costume alongside floral decoration of a pastoral nature incorporating what appears to be a set of initials and inscription above reading:

FABRIQVE VEVERITABLE

It would appear that this attractive seal was used to provide authentication for a particular product from a certain company.  Unusual to come across one with this combination of theme.
