19thC Hardstone Continental Armorial Desk Seal

Seal Detail

A hardstone desk seal dating to c1900 of well carved agate of sand red to brown hues of rounded top and tapering waisted stem form with integral oval matrix, well engraved with shield and mantling and arms on a parted field comprising lion standant and three vertical wings.

A very tactile desk seal due to the material and form and in excellent condition with no apparent blemishes to detract from its appeal.
