2x Cartier English Desk Armorial Seals With Cases - Baldwin/Bridge

A superb pair of early 20th century Cartier desk wax seals offered together as a sole lot relating to the family Baldwin and Bridge.  

1. A desk seal made of lapis lazuli and engraved with armorial, crest and motto.  The integral handle is fashioned superbly from a single piece of lapis, with the most extraordinary blend of colours, with faceted top tapering faceted stem to a narrow integral collar and oval matrix, finely engraved with the armorials comprising shield showing for Baldwin impaling Bridge, under a helm and crest with motto at base reading:

In remarkable order and presented with its original Cartier box.

2. A desk seal made of crystal with flat faceted tapering top, tapering and faceted stem to an oval matrix, well engraved with the arms of Bridge, comprising shield, helm and crest with decorative swags and motto at base reading;

In remarkable order with no discernible damage to the crystal edges.  Internal flaws noted.  Original Cartier case in excellent condition.
