Seal Detail

A striking later 19th century hand seal of cylindrical form with rounded top and unusual colouration. This seal is defined by the coupling of warm yellow brass with the muted and varying tones of the lime green agate. The circular brass matrix is well cut with twin shields beneath a coronet within a lined border, symbolising the union of two Continental families through marriage.
