Seal Detail

A fine 17th century steel desk seal, of short, stubby button handle form with larger circular silver matrix, well and deeply engraved with a full compliment of Germanic arms including armorial, helm, crest and inscription, reading:

WIDEMAN*VON*TRIDINGEN 

The seal is presented in excellent condition and gained a lovely patina from over 300 in existence.
